The Greater Boston Buddhist Community Census that members of our Sangha helped prepare was presented to Mr. Lobsang Nyandak, the Representative to the Americas of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama from the Office of Tibet in New York City. Here is a photo of the group that met with him recently at the Kurukulla Center in Medford, MA.

Mr Nyandak is at the Center flanked by Venerable Geshe Tenley of the Kurukulla Center and Tenzin Priyadarshi Director of the Dalai Lama’s Center for Ethics and Transformative Values at MIT to the left, and Sean Gonzales, Kurukulla’s Assistant Director and Debra Thornburg, Kurukulla’s Director on the right.
In late July the Census was presented to Geshe Tenlye (center). Buddhist Meditation Group @ UUCR Sangha assistant teacher Ken Flanders is immediately behind Geshe Tenley. Other Census team members include Bill Seaver on my right, Joan Schwartz, Mimi Izzo to the right of Geshe Tenley, and Matthew McCall. Sean Gonsalez Kurukulla’s assistant director is on the right.
