I’ve just returned from a wonderful two week vacation with my family. We spent the time on Mount Desert Island at Acadia National Park. We’ve been visiting there for 9 years now. We hike, bike, relax and generally rejuvenate.
It’s a wonder what being in the present can do for our own well being. Just being in nature has a way of bringing all the benefits of mindfulness and meditation to bear without the formality and the process.
If you can’t get out into nature today, here’s a minute long opportunity to benefit from my vacation time. Listening to the sounds of the waterfall is enough to shake off the dust and clutter of your day and find your center.
